Clover Crate Co. is a locally owned, family-built moving tote rental company created to make moving easier, cleaner, and a whole lot less dependent on cardboard.

We’re Alison and Cody, co-owners of Clover Crate Co., and this business grew from family legacy, hard work, unexpected change, and the decision to finally build something of our own.

For years, I built my life around a career I thought would always be there. I worked hard, grew, learned, and gave a huge part of my adult life to it. Earlier this year, that chapter ended after 15.5 years.

That moment changed the way I looked at stability.

I realized I didn’t want my future to depend entirely on someone else’s decisions. I wanted to build something of my own — something rooted in family, creativity, hard work, and the kind of legacy I could actually pass down.

That’s where Clover Crate Co. began to take on a different meaning.

The clover itself is personal. It’s a nod to my Nanny and our Scots-Irish roots, and to the fact that I’ve always had a funny way of finding four-leaf clovers when I’m not even looking. Over time, that became a reminder that sometimes the best things really do find you when you least expect them.

I come from people who knew how to work.

My Papa was a businessman and entrepreneur who taught me about courage, risk, hard work, and creating something that could provide for your family.

My Daddy gave me creativity, a love for music, stubborn determination, and the drive to keep proving to myself that I could do hard things. After losing him unexpectedly, I went back to school and earned my degree in Business Leadership and Management, in part because I wanted to make him proud.

My Mama gave me grit.

My sisters have always been part of my village and some of my biggest cheerleaders.

For most of Bransyn’s life, it was just the two of us. Then Cody came along, and somewhere along the way, Cody, Sadie, Remi, Bransyn and I became a family. The five of us are now at the center of the life we’re building, and that family is a huge part of why Clover Crate Co. means so much to us.

The idea finally became real after one very specific moment.

One night, I put $100 on red at a roulette table. Cody didn’t even know why I did it until afterward. It wasn’t really about gambling — it was about making a decision in my own head to stop waiting and finally bet on myself.

Red won.

And then we got to work.

Today, Clover Crate Co. is built around four things that matter deeply to us:

Faith. Family. Grit. New Beginnings.

That’s the heart behind the clover.
